Picking up a new touring/backup commuting bike this weekend nearly a year before I had planned on it. My FatBike developed a nasty crack in the frame and replacement fat bike frames are just too expensive vs a new bike right now.

New bike is a 64cm Surly Disc Trucker. Hoping the steel frame lasts longer than the Alu frame on the fattie did (3 years/5500 miles). Kinda excited.

Congrats, I still use an inexpensive aluminum 26x2" for my touring/commuting.
Surly is way out of my league, but touring is still very nice (when I can do it).
